I saw that tin over in the wicked vices swap gallery.  I love it!  Great job on the hat MB81 (and what a cutie!)

ok girls... I've been google doctoring and I think I have an incurable condition. I wanted to tell you about it, as I think some of you also exhibit the symptoms... having multiple projects going, not finishing things before you start another and an unquenchable need to start MORE stuff... its called craftitis - its an inflammation of the craftiness.

lol, I definitely have that!  Tongue However, I DID actually finish the small project I started last night. It's a __________ for RaraAvis in the IYP swap.  Wink

Cute hats, mellybelly and Kookaloo!

Always, its quite funny because most ppl say he looks like my husband, but my MIL keeps saying he looks like my dad. So now there's another pwrson to say he looks like my side of the family Smiley and I just realised he's wearing the same tshirt in the pics, I swear he's got more than one tshirt!

Kookaloo - how funny that we both decided to make sunhats? Yours looks great, did you use a pattern? I kinda winged mine and whilst I'm happy with it, I'd prefer a proper pattern to make it a) a little better in proportion and b)easier to do next time so I don't have to do the maths all over again

I made a tshirt for my aunty's bday from my sister and me. Since we both have bubs at the toddler and almost toddler stage now, she has been teasing us with something she saw about toddlers and how they are still to learn the art of sharing. She is the type of person who tends to make a joke over and over til it starts to get a bit annoying (I'm sure you all know someone like that), so when we came across this tshirt (in her fave colour no less!) with the exact thing she had been going on and on about, we decided that we had to cut it out and put it on a shirt for her!! Pease ignore the threads, I haven't sewn them all in yet and you will also notice a section of the purple that is stitched a little different... for the life of me I couldn't get it to move through the machine on that side - I unpicked it 3 times and this stretch stitch pattern is hell to unpick - so I ended up putting a sheet of paper underneath and I think it then went through faster, thus larger stitches.

Its no coincidence mellybelly, I saw yours and it reminded me I'd promise hubby a denim one from the old jeans stash  Smiley
No pattern but it's based on a hat I own. I've worked out why it doesn't fit Matt, the same with most of my sewing without a pattern I always cut a generous seam allowance to be on the safe side and then sometimes I forget when sewing and just make my usual 1/4" seams.

the t-shirt tickled me, those sentiments apply to my Labrador too  Cheesy

I have more headgear to share. My Hat Swap partner got her goodies so I can show them off now.
