Haven't been on much recently, but caught up today, loads of gorgeous stuff. I've been busy doing late nights and very little crafting. I have finished up my swap and will be sending on Monday. Then I can get back to some me Crafting.

very cool sweater, and I like the colors on the fingerless gloves. But now I have the mental image of a Yeti wearing a sweater (hey, it gets cold in the Himalayas!), and sipping tea.

And I never thought of making shrink buttons, those are exceedingly nifty. Did you punch the buttonholes before or after you shrunk the plastic?

I've been spending the last several nights (and free hours during the day) crocheting a baby blanket. The pattern is from LionBrand. The original pattern is pink, purple, and green, but this was for a little boy. A lot of people have done it in blues, white, and brown, but I thought it might be cool in a monochromatic scheme.

Thanks, rottenlittleboys, sheepBlue, bookstorebabe, and Gspinn.  Aria was quite proud of her work.  It’s hanging up on her wall along with a cross stitch sampler I made when I was 6. 
She has been asking me to let her use my sewing machine.  O_o.  heh.

Thank you meleriffic.  I like your baby blanket.  You yarnie folks amaze me. 

Bookstorebabe, I used an extra large circle punch to punch the circles out and then used a regular paper 3 ring binder hole punch to punch out the holes for the buttons before I stuck them in the oven to shrink.  I will say I heated up the oven to 450 so it would make them shrink fast.  I have found that when its lower bigger pieces tend to curl up and get all messed up.  You do have to watch your pieces very closely though at the high heat.

Sarahj2001, those fingerless mitts are amazing.  I love the colors.

A swap package of mine was received! I designed graphics for two boys tees. Green one I did a digital illustration and silk screened it, the blue one I drew out by hand and used butcher's paper. There is a super cute explanation about the "Kaled" theme HERE
