Wow, Kookie! Fantastic knitting! I don't know how to do the magic loop. The time I tried using a too-long circular, it seemed very awkward.  But it seems you have got it nailed!
I have one commissioned project to send off, then I can play, and get some photos up. So, I'm getting ready to spend the day sewing. IF I can avoid getting side-tracked. You see, just clearing off my table can be side-tracking, If I touch something that sparks me, I may never get that other thing made!

I was cutting out a quilt last night...then I saw the tiny scraps piling up next to my pile of cuts...I thought: I can make notecards from those...went to another room to get notecards...while I was there, I saw that my old chair cushion looked worn, so then I went to find my stash of upholstery fabric in the garage...along with some little baskets that I had put out for Goodwill...grabbed the baskets and decided I could make cute Easter decorations...went to look for green yarn...hubby came home at 8 pm and asked me if I finished my quilt...uh, what quilt? Cheesy

nicolebirdsall--as a HUGE Dr. Who fan, I am impressed with your art!  The black and white drawing against the vivid glittery background really pops it out!  Please post it in the Dr. Who craftalong!

holy cow, K-star!  The socks match exactly!  The spiral pattern is fantastic!

OMG!! There's a Dr Who craftalong! I am so off to find it   Grin

When you nurse a wee babe they nearly all have a terrible horrible no good very bad habit of tweaking the other nipple, don't ask me why ~ I only know that I HATED IT! So a nursing necklace is to distract them, give them something to hold onto and play with. Amazingly enough, a nursing babe is hardly ever a nice snuggly little bundle of warm docile lap baby, that's when they like to kick, wiggle, turn upside and do other acrobatics. It's maddening! So anything to help them stay still instead of attempting to run off to play with boobeh still clamped in their jaws, lol, is a helpful thing!
I'm sitting here with a sleeping baby on my shoulder, trying to catch up with the thread, and this just made me lol (but softly, so she didn't wake up). Luckily, my baby doesn't pinch, and is pretty calm when eating, unless the cat shows up. Then keeping bits attached is a bit of a struggle.

I finished my Hunger Games bag a few days ago! Sadly since winter sucks and there's never enough light, these pictures are less than stellar - but I will rig up a super awesome lightbooth eventually and take better pictures. For now though I've got a few shots.

My favorite patch!

And a little pouch I made as a side

Great bag, sheepBlue! I like the patches with quotes on them the most.  Smiley

I made cupcakes tonight - Lemon Blueberry. The cake part turned out a little dry, but I would definitely use this recipe again! I've decided that I'm being lazy for the rest of the night, so pics will be up later since the camera's still in the kitchen. I'm hoping to upload pics of my last few projects either tomorrow or Saturday. I'm hoping to get to the craft store to get the one thing I need to finish up something so I'll be able to post everything together.
