This challenge is CRAZY... not so much the "50 things" but the "keeping up with posts"!! I've not checked that often... I was 100 pages behind an hour ago.

Should I post a new  posting here when I finish a project, or just update my original list? I've just been updating my list thinking it would be easier to keep track of, but I notice some are posting pics as new posts when they finish.

3:30am... I'm going to bed. Good thing I'm unemployed or I'd hate myself in the morning, but I really need to stop staying up so late.

Thanks for all the kind words for the owl beanies. Grin

Koreena-Your first work of pottery looks fantastic!

noooitaremybirthday- That sci-fi tin ROCKS! I am sure that your partner squealed with glee when opening her package. I know I would like a little school girl.

SilverMoon- The yarn is Red Heart Super Saver in Mexicana.

QueenNinjaMonkey- What a gorgeous sketchbook!

coocoosnest- Love the voodoo doll and bracelet!

indigo_roses- I adore the shell stitch blanket!

skittlebub- Those tampon pouches are fantastic and there has to be a really interesting story behind the pillow. ^_^

kwiltykate - great quilt, I love the pattern Smiley
Eclectic Dreamer - I think what most people do is update their lists when they complete something, but also make a new post with pictures and some info about the project, so that other people can see what they did. I believe most people don't go back to look at everyone's list to see if it's been updated. It's hard enough keeping track of the conversation in this thread anyway.

Your list is for your own record!  I post my project somewhere in the forum, here, and then on my list (PHEW!)...

forget about keeping up! Cheesy  I do because I want to add projects to my current list, and lists for the next 100 years! Cheesy

indigo_roses--love your knitted hats!  the crochet blanket is also lovely and such a nice color!

QNM--love your Sketchbook!  So nice that you included family and things special to you!

kwiltykate--now I have ANOTHER quilt I want to do!  It is so interesting!

coocoosnest--I am going to look up your address and steal that bracelet!!!  I love evil eyes...I spent some years in Turkey where evil eyes were everywhere...I wish I had purchased some beads! ha ha the voodoo doll is cute as well!

I will need to find that Mexicana yarn!  I love rainbow yarn!

Love the leaf coasters and the brown and green hat!

And of course, the quilt.  I don't know how you pump them out so fast!  I feel like I've been working on my first for ages....

I am way, way behind on this thread. I hope to catch up on what I've missed later. You are all zipping right along with the amazing stuff!  Smiley

I made this for Cornelius, who is our "Grandkitty". My oldest son was working at a kill shelter when this sweet guy came in as a nearly grown kitten. He is such a friendly and mellow cat that it was hoped he would be adopted, but no, he was slated for euthanasia after being there too long. Our son loved this cat, and wanted to save him any way he could, so he asked us if we could keep him until he can move into a cat-friendlier place than where he lives right now. So we are fostering this guy. Nicest cat ever, thinks he is a dog, loves belly rubs, and I wish we could keep him forever. Just so happens that I used valentine-colored t shirt yarn for most of it, and it's for a loved one, since this beastie is very loved.  Grin

Me too!  That is such a touching story, LaughingLark!  Makes me tear up just thinking about it!  I'm so glad that sweet kitty was saved!  And that mat he is sitting on looks so wonderful and comfy!  What a lucky kitty!
