Don't feel bad. I've done that more than once. I know it's really frustrating, but at least it's something you can fix.

Oops. Easy done. It's amazing how frustrating the little things can be.

I have ambitions of sewing a corset. I'm quite scared, but sometime when I feel up to it I will break out the fabric and just do it.

OK...well I hope everyone here is ready for a giggle, a chuckle or maybe even a good laugh.

Oh Look!! I have some how managed to sew this the wrong way!!   It should be inside out and it isn't!!  The handles have been swallowed by the insides of the bag too!!  Gee...try again tomorrow?!?!

*snort!* Please understand, while I laugh at the situation, I am not laughing at your predicament. When I first began to learn to sew with only myself for an instructor, I did the exact same thing on a blouse.

Twice.  Cheesy

I made those types of mistakes before too.  Every now and then when I'm crocheting a cardigan sleeve to the front and back panels, I do it in a way where the seam is showing on the outside.  Even though I've double checked to make sure it'll be right...

I've done that many times. I've even been known to take it apart and do it the exact same way again.

OK...well I hope everyone here is ready for a giggle, a chuckle or maybe even a good laugh.

This is one of those times and things that if you don't laugh, the frustration just may make you cry.  I have been working on a messenger/laptop bag for my DD's BFF (say that 5 times fast!!)   I have been encountering one issue after another with it and I decided to just bite the bullet and finish it tonight.  Oh how wrong I was to even dream it would be done tonight!!!   I know this particular bag is out to get me.   I have a theory...  One night all of my fabric got together and decided which fabrics would be the Chosen ones to deliver extreme frustration.   Here are the winners!!   As you will soon see that this is NOT a complicated bag nor should it cause me as many headaches as it has but for some reason things seem to go wrong.  In these photos you will see that I am making really simple and stupid mistakes....one right after another.

Here are the photos of Woe....

The side looks pretty good too...wait...what happened to the handles?   Where did they go??  I know I sewed them in there...somewhere...

Embarrassed yup, I've done that too  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I finally finished the blanket I was working on. It's my first large (well kind of large) crocheting project. You can find some of the details here.

And just because I think it's cute, here's my 19 month old trying to crochet the finished blanket.

Thank you for all of the kind words and encouragement.   I have been sewing for quite some time now and these types of mistakes still seem to haunt me. Grin   This bag has been a problem for me from the word go and now it is residing in my drawer of UFOs.   I will finish it but I need a MAJOR break from it for a few days...maybe a week.   I am of to work this weekend anyway so it will all work out!! Cheesy

@meleriffic...Love the blanket and Your son is so darling!!
