Hi All,

I'm looking for ideas in shipping out holiday letters this year.  I'd like to do something that's more than just making copies on sparkly paper.  Ideally it would be something that's simple but creatively sweet.  I considered doing messages in a bottle but it would be too costly.  Ideas please??    Smiley

thanks! jen

Accordian style album/book.  I did small card sized ones years ago using cardstock for the inside pages, thicker cardboard for the covers (a cut up detergent box I think), wrapped with origami paper, and used printed pictures of us and the dogs throughout the year, writing around the pictures with metallic gel pens for our letter.  It was a letter, Christmas card, and mini photo album in one, and very compact.

All you need is paper, cardstock, a bone folder, glue, and you can pretty it up however you want too - mini ornaments, pictures, stamps/stencils, have the kids cut up paper snowflakes, ribbon, whatever you want your theme to be.  I like the metal embossed centre of the HGTV one.
