Pretty skirt I made.

No pattern, just a waist measurement, six equal gores to make the skirt with a ruffle round the bottom, an overlayer of another 6 gored skirt, top stitch the long seams to the skirt and pull a ribbon through the underside of the seam & tie it off to hitch up the skirt and another ruffle round the hem.

Easy peasey.

now this is great, thanks for sharing! i've been meaning to make this for like 7 years now, and maybe the time has ripened..... when i can buy new fabrics Grin atm i'm trying to make 2 items per week to lessen the amount of fabric and add to the clothes i have. no shopping allowed, unless it's for something i would want to make out of the fabrics i already have.
