Van Gogh is my absolute favorite artist and Starry Night is one of my favorite paintings.
I had a pair of old heels lying around, so I covered them in some canvas like fabric and painted away!
I love the way they turned out and I love wearing them around. I also painted the church and buildings on the back of the heel, but I totally forgot to take a picture.

IN progress:

hope you love 'em!

I do love 'em. They are beautiful and full of the raw emotion Van Gogh painted

Van Gogh is also my favorite artist, and you did a great job on these shoes. Who would have thought of recreating his work on shoes! Smiley

Have to admit, I just came back from window shopping and found the most epic pair of shoes ever, but these starry night shoes are definitely a good runner up!

What a great way of carrying a great artist with you where ever you go and showing him off. You did a fantastic job at painting these. :3

Wow, you did a really nice job on these! I love this painting, but am always afraid of doing crafts based on it for fear of butchering it. You totally pulled it off!
