Refashioned this too short denim mini skirt. Added a fabric ruffle to the bottom which makes it a reasonable length now. Also added the crochet flowers (not made by me) and beads for the centers. Used three rows of zigzag stitching to keep the denim from rolling up (which this skirt tends to do) and also to add a decorative element.

A wonderful conversion. I wouldn't have thought of the crochet flowers, but they really work well.
