Here is a stocking that has been created with the beginner in mind, but anyone with any skill can make it. You don't even have to sew anything! It's made with 4-ply yarn, Red Heart's Super Saver and an H/5.00mm hook.. Once you make it, the color possibilities are endless.

This is great.  Would love to make a whole batch of stockings for my family. There are four of us so the pattern needs to be pretty easy, especially since crochet is not my strong suit.

How long does this take to make for someone moderately good at crocheting?

There is a thin, semantic line separating weird and beautiful. And that line is covered in jellyfish. - Welcome to Night Vale

Hi, At your skill level, you could make a stocking in a couple of evenings or a Saturday afternoon. There is no shaping, so all you need to do is count the rounds. Once you complete one, you'll be cranking them out in no time! Scraps work great for this stocking, too.

If you need more help, I'm always here for you.
