I've been making paintings and fabric paintings for my family for christmas and do not know how to present them.   Does anyone have any suggestions?  Is there a best way to wrap art without harming them (mine are just canvas, no frames)?

Thank you

I paint with acrylics and I don't know if it's the right way to do it, but it seems to work ok to me. First, I wait until it's totally dry and not at all gummy or tacky. Then I spray it with a finishing spray and wait for that to dry completely, too. Once that's done, I wrap it, gently with some large format inexpensive drawing paper, like newsprint. And then I box it up.

ps. Newsprint it not archival, so don't store your paintings in it long term.

Depending on the medium (basically, if it's flexible and not at all sticky), rolling it and stuffing in a tube is pretty good.  That's what I do, but admittedly my stuff is more often prints or drawings.
