My partner is a biiig fan of the Portal game so he asked if I'd stitch him a version of the Weighted Companion Cube for him to put on his desk.  Pattern for it was actually really easy to find on the internets, and only took just over an hour to stitch, so was quite a quick fun one to do Smiley

We're also big fans of the I.T crowd.  He is actually Moss from the show, and is always fixing computers.  I asked him something about the computer once, and he replied with the line stitched on the card below.  (Moss says it at some point).  So once again I was inspired to do some stitching.  I found a pattern for Moss' face on the internets and then drew out
the quote on some chart paper before I stitched it.  He loves it and it has been added to growing collection of craft stuff I've made on his desk Smiley

How I became a Portal addict before I even played the game, I'll never know.  I only recently got it from Steam while it was free.  I love all the art I see on the internet inspired by the game.  That companion cube looks great.  I think it's time I made a companion cube magnet.  Thanks for the inspiration.

I enjoy both of these, so much!  Pixel Moss transfers to cross stitch so well, and you did great on the lettering.  Good props for a geek desk.
