So a few months ago My best friend found out her older sister was pregnant ( I huge surprise to us all, she is not maternal at all) and knowing that Casey isnt Girly in any sense of the word we decided to throw her a Invader Zim Baby Shower (unfortunately I am 2 states away and can only give ideas) I made her a Gir baby Blankey and here it is!

and I made the back all fuzzy

I also made a Gir plushie,I'm not too happy with it but it was probably the 3rd one I had tried to make and he came out the best

C & C are most Welcome! Let me know what you think!

I don't know the character but that doesn't change how adorable and thoughtful this is Smiley. It looks really cozy too. I love non-traditional colors for babies!

The big picture may be amazing but it's the little details that inspire.

I'd love me a grown-up size Gir blanket to curl up on the couch with, it looks very warm!  I'm sure it will be the hit of the shower.

Oh my gosh!  My friend is a huge Invader Zim fan.  We totally should have done that as our baby shower theme.  Oh well...  she loved the Girls Rock / Potty Like Rock Stars baby show we threw anyway!  Smiley

I love Invader Zim... I think these turned out great! My favorite blankie from when I was a baby was handmade too so I can see these being a favorite of the new baby for years to come!
