thank you teag for posting pics of the tin i sent, i can't believe i didn't take any when i finished it (that was a first) thank you for all the nice comments on my tin, i didn't think outside the "tin" like everyone else so i will have to wait for another swap to try that. i love all the tins i have seen. since this is my first altered tin i can't wait to do more. the little lights and music box i have had for years and finally found a way to use it, i think it was for a making a miniature item for a doll house. this was a fun swap, thank you everyone for such inspireing projects

I believe racky is correct. It's an interesting fact that the things that are in our own heads, what we live with day to day, we think of as normal or rather ordinary. I'm always blown away by what other people have in their heads....what they think is ordinary. It's all a matter of perspective. I think that's what is inspiring about other peoples work.

i received from miknessevie on saturday!  such a beautiful tin!  we both liked nativities, and i was pleased to receive a tin on that line!  vintagey music paper with gold on the outside, along with a hand cut nativity scene on the front...inside is a vintage angel image and a needle felted baby Jesus!  wow!!!!!




and i ADORE the twirl of hair on Jesus' head!!!


i mailed yesterday (love a post office at a mall), and the woman thought it would be there by thursday at the latest
