I received my awesome tin from grasshopper yesterday.  I love it.  She also sent me some cool shape erasers and a pen.  The pen is at work already so I didn't get a picture of it.
Here's the front and the erasers:

And the back - I love the little buttons:

And finally the cool inside:

i adore the variety in tins that were made!  even with similar items (like the tiny bottle brush trees or mini lights) they are all so unique!!

dinkime, really like the colors you chose for the inside of your tin. Did you do paint layers or is that paper?

it was a laborous process, lol...
it is basic grey paper (a "solid" blue from one of the christmas lines (fruitcake i think)...i did a tiny bit of stamping on it with chipped sapphire tim holtz ink...the "edges" of the inside are painted blue then inked with the sapphire...the paper was inked on the edges and glued in...then i painted the entire inside with tim holtz's rock candy crackle (clear crackle is so awesome) and inked over the top (a little) with the chipped sapphire...the noel was torn out and gilded on the edge with a gold krylon pen...then i covered the top with rock candy stickles from tim holtz (completely clear glitter glue)...then inked a little with the sapphire...

Ah ha! I found the paper (after digging around online). I bought it at a small local shop but this is what it is...

Ah! Thanks for finding it! It's perfect for small scale. Smiley

I love it when people explain how they got a certain look...the nativity scene is wonderful...I love the stable roof...and what a lot of care you put into the layers!

And, the little bottle trees are so cute...and I love those snowflakes!

Nicely done!

Everyone has done such an amazing job! This is one of the best swap!

Bottle trees are all the rage this year. I bought some but ended up not using them. I'll have to work them into another project.

Another gorgeous nativity scene, Dinkime, so lovely! I really love the layered blue background inside your tin too.

What a lovely scene, grasshopper! I want to pinch Santas cheeks in that image, he looks so cuddly!

I'm so sorry, I completely failed to get a good photo of cackle's gorgeous tin today. I had a job interview today that lasted longer than I expected so it was dark when I came home, and I just can't get one that does it justice at all Undecided First thing tomorrow, I promise!

Really lovely alwaysinmyroom! Love the Victorian feel of it and the rich colors. The skaters are great....neat perspective with the tree in the background!
