A friend of mine asked me to make her a messenger bag out of some old Star Wars:Empire Strikes Back bed sheets. I have never made a messenger bag nor are my bags all that perfect but she insisted and said she'd pay. So yes... i gave in and gave it a try.

I felt like it needed a little something so i decided to make an AT-AT out of felt and put it on the flap. I also embroidered lasers coming out of the AT-AT.

I had no pattern to the bag and just went with the flow and had tons of fun in the process

Hope you enjoy =)

the beginning...

thank you .... and it was ssssooooo hard to hand this bag over. I tried to think of so many scenarios in which i would say that i was walking along and someone saw the bag and stole it right out my hand... but i would have been caught in that lie because i would have worn the $#!+ out of it lol
