After trolling many fabricvilles and coming up short for some inspiring teddy bear fur, I began to wonder where one might find a good selection of color and texture.... I decided to try my luck by spending an entire day exploring every textile store on St-Hubert street, and found a jackpot! fiinally... goodbye less-than-adequate online description pictures...

7195 St Hubert, DRAPERIES SAM is right near the corner of Jean Talon and St-Hubert, just outside Jean Talon metro. I found some great faux furs (more than fabricville), and then i went UPSTAIRS... every color and texture imaginable!!!! Short, long, smooth, textured, and for very decent prices. Even found some very short-pile mohair and alpaca for antiqued teddy bears - no true long mohair fur for bears tho Sad One of the salesman, Harun, was quite friendly and gave me some very nice discounts (one 50$/metre alpaca for 30$ because there was only a meter and a half left!)

Who else has found some good spots in montreal for teddy bear fur? I still can't find a place that actually stocks good teddy mohair... if there is one...
