This is too cute!  I love the shape and the mock cables.  You did a great job!  ^_^

You wouldn't mind me trying to replicate this shape to possibly use for a faerie costume for a Ren Faire in May, would you?  I was inspired the second I saw the thumbnail.

What do you mean by mock cables?
I derped.  It's long enough ago that I don't even remember why I put the word mock in there.  Probably because the technique of cables originated in knitting and was "mocked" or mimicked for use in crochet.  Either way, precious.  Good job.

I don't think I'd really look at this and see "witch," I'd probably be confused by it costume-wise, honestly. I could see more woodland creature type things, though. But! I think it is super adorable & very well done and will be an awesome hat for your hiking and such!
