Thanks so much to CherryLime for an awesome package.

First, there are cake pops. It never occurs to me to send people food in craft swaps, but these are delicious so I'm so glad she did!

Next there was a necklace with Jack Skellington charms on it.

Then, Jack Skellington himself appeared. Instead of an elf on the shelf, CherryLime made me a Jack on the Shelf!

And finally, a Nightmare Before Christmas tree!!!!

Take a look at the awesome Sally tree skirt:

Finally, here it is on my mantle, along with my Jack on the Shelf:

It's so funny cuz I almost made her a tree too but couldn't get the supplies in time! I love my package so much! Thanks Cherry!

I'm so glad you like it all! I had such a great time playing with ideas and seeing how it came together. The tree skirt was especially fun - last Christmas my grandmother gave me her sewing machine, one of the earlier computerized ones with a ton of decorative stitches. A bit different from my beloved '61 singer that needs you to put in a cam just to get a zig-zag! I don't quilt much so this project gave me an excuse to really play with all those great stitches. So much fun! Smiley

The Jack pattern is adapted from the fabulous one posted by craftster SpiderMonkey here. I simplified it and gave it a shabby-chic (hopefully) look with the visible stitches. I can't believe how at home he looks on your gorgeous shelf, Munky!

I have a package to pick up from the apartment office tomorrow ... I can't wait to open it!  Hopefully pics to follow shortly! Smiley

Very much so! I just wish I could wear it outside, but it's been staying warmer here, 50* in WNY in November is not normal!
