Here is all the cool loot I got from Noix85. A tote - love the bats, a pouch - the woven ribbons are cool and I love the colour, a pencil case - we all love the material, a cute little Sally Doll. Last but not least my favourite, a set of Jack jewellery. I am going to wear the earrings to my daughter's first official junior roller derby bout on Saturday.

There were also some witch finger biscuits and lollipops. Thank you so much Noix85. Such a lovely surprise to come home to. Hope you like your package too.

The Jack stuff is so cool.

Wow cool fabric, we don't get any like that in the UK! Love the Sally too, and the jack jewellery.

Also, junior roller derby I'm impressed!

i received from redpopsicles yesterday! such perfect timing! i just worked a 10.5 hour work day  ::woof:: and was dreading the turkey day (i am not a big thanksgiving person- I don't like turkey and while i agree with the thankful sentiment of the holiday... i just can't do it) so i was totally in need of a pick me up!
i got a beautiful stocking, that i already hung up next to my tree!

along with a beautiful apron, a skull flower hair clip and a little magical box with skull buttons just like the one on the hair clip! i used  my apron today while i made some mac and bleu cheese!

thank you sooo much redpopsicles!

Thanks so much to CherryLime for an awesome package.

First, there are cake pops. It never occurs to me to send people food in craft swaps, but these are delicious so I'm so glad she did!

Next there was a necklace with Jack Skellington charms on it.

Then, Jack Skellington himself appeared. Instead of an elf on the shelf, CherryLime made me a Jack on the Shelf!

And finally, a Nightmare Before Christmas tree!!!!

Take a look at the awesome Sally tree skirt:

Finally, here it is on my mantle, along with my Jack on the Shelf:

It's so funny cuz I almost made her a tree too but couldn't get the supplies in time! I love my package so much! Thanks Cherry!

I'm so glad you like it all! I had such a great time playing with ideas and seeing how it came together. The tree skirt was especially fun - last Christmas my grandmother gave me her sewing machine, one of the earlier computerized ones with a ton of decorative stitches. A bit different from my beloved '61 singer that needs you to put in a cam just to get a zig-zag! I don't quilt much so this project gave me an excuse to really play with all those great stitches. So much fun! Smiley

The Jack pattern is adapted from the fabulous one posted by craftster SpiderMonkey here. I simplified it and gave it a shabby-chic (hopefully) look with the visible stitches. I can't believe how at home he looks on your gorgeous shelf, Munky!

I have a package to pick up from the apartment office tomorrow ... I can't wait to open it!  Hopefully pics to follow shortly! Smiley

So I FINALLY (a) was able to pick up my package from the main office, (b) was home during daylight to get decent pics and (c) was able to convince the pics to upload (seriously, that part took TWO HOURS, stupid connection)

But so worth it! GiddyupMunky sent me a fantastic box of goodies!

(noting that "decent pics" is relative here) - A black feather wreath, a flag garland, cute little ghosts, and more!
I love them all - the black wreath especially. It's totally one of those things that I would never have thought of making or getting but I love it.

I adore this adorable little ghost ornament!

Some great crafting goodies and a wooden halloween flag. I'm so using these all!

My favorites! Munky made these gorgeous glass pumpkin napkin rings. Aren't these amazing?

Thank you for the fantastic box of goodies!

Found my camera!!!!

More Crafty Love.....and I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV VVVVVVVE MY PACKAGE!!!!

I am so glad you like your goodies. I was thinking the scarf might be too long. But I've made myself a scarf that was too short and it just doesn't work as well as a wrap yourself to oblivion length. I curious even if it's a PM just for the feedback =D

Let me know how those coasters work too. I was afraid that the embroidery might make glasses a little wonky when you set stuff on them. I tested them before totally finishing them and it seemed to work out alright.

Everything is perfect!!
I'd rather have a scarf that I can wrap around me til all you see is my eyeballs  Tongue. For Buffalo weather (if it ever kicks in) it'll come in handy between the width and length, because I really can't deal with my neck or chin getting cold. The softness and fuzzyness just makes it all the better! I've just had to hide it from my cat, he loves fuzzy things and will try to claim it for his own, lol.

Coasters are fantastic as well, no wonkyness Wink

Ack, you're right! I knew I forgot something! And the embarrassing thing is that the reason I forgot is that it's already hanging up in my office so didn't get grabbed up with the rest for the photo session. It looks so perfect there, too! I'll get a pic to show it off - it's a gorgeous painting (and I'm really jealous of your painting skills!) called (if I remember) "Graveyard at Christmas" and it's just that - a beautifully haunting graveyard with a wind-whipped tree and snow. Beautiful and creepy, just perfect!

Sorry for forgetting!

It is ok CherryLime! I was afraid it had gotten destroyed or something even though I thought you had said in your PM that you hung it up already. I just started painting, so that's probably only my third painting. I'm so glad you liked it. I was afraid it might be too dark. I created the nighttime feel of it by mixing every color, brown, blue, gray, etc with black.

So pleased you like it all. I was worried you might miss the card since it was stuck on the outside as the label, glad you found it. The package was fun to make. I love making dolls. The extra pendant was originally on your Christmas vampire, must have fallen off her choker. Embarrassed I was really pleased with how the painted tea towels worked out, especially the house. My son really like the lolly pops you sent. Cheesy

Sorry - I have been so busy + ill. I have not had time to sit & take photos. The lighting is off on these & I apologize - it is to cold to go out!

MistressH sent creepy feet stockings with vegan chocolate - mmmm - I have never had vegan candy from the UK. Also a nice long note explaining it all!

Christmas crackers with severed fingers, candy cane ornaments dripping in blood red spirals, a monster banner that can be changed out, a lovely Jack decoration that is a bit creepy!

All is wonderful! Now if only I could get time to decorate! Thank you again!!!!

Sent and done. Smiley Happy Holidays!

Indeed... sent and SQUEEE! Okay so be warned... lots-o-pics... This is the best swap package I have gotten so far! I loved every single bit! And I have to admit I was waiting at the mail box when the mail man arrived... he even asked if I was waiting for something... /blush... yes I am... was my reply!

Thank you franknhurter... My Christmas is complete!

So without further adieu lets see how a lonely empty pink foil tree became friends with zombies =D

My tree's haute couture has arrived... just in time for the zombie ball!

Luckily my zombie goodies were kept safe... or was it the postal service that was protected in the end... hrm...

Who would have thunk a zombie finger would be such a great chap stick holder... and it has the faint hint of Burt's Bees Pomegranite to it... /ponders... Burt's... Bee's you say... I say Burt's Zombies!

Of course... zombie critters should inhabit the zombie tree I cut from the zombie forest- head desk!

Ink, stamp... Repeat! Kinda like a semi automatic weapon... I've heard they are good at taking down zombies! This is just a titch more crafty!

For those zombie loving folks closest to your heart... /warm fuzzies...

What zombie xmas wouldn't be complete with out a survival kit... I mean who knows who may want to eat your braaaaiiiiiins on the this most important of birthday nights...?

So yeah... you have everything you need to fend off zombies on xmas... chocolate... mints... brains... can't get better than this... I bet Alice is jealous right about now!

So yeah... on this sleepless Yule Tide Eve. I can brush up on how to survive those pesky zombies out to eat Santa's coo... er BRAAAAIIINS!
