these are great, I love the fabric combos..

what impresses me most is how neat the ends of the zips are. Any tips to share? Know of any tutes?..I make a ton of zippered pouches but cannot get the ends of the zips tucked nicely away like you do. Obviously my technique is wrong, Part of the problem is that I use up old zips, which are invariably too long, so I have to cut them, but that still should allow me to make them as neat as yours..help?

These are beautiful.  Love the use of the buttons.  I'm a button-freak too.    Can you share your pattern for these?  Or at least some clues on how you did the zippers?

I just got a sewing machine for Christmas this year and would love to give this a try.  I haven't sewn anything since the 7th grade and I'm not even going to tell you how long ago that was...but I really like the bags design and construction.  Very good.
