I recently did a private ornament swap with the talented noooitaremybirthday. She requested something like the felt Hedwig and felt dragon characters I have created in the past. While perusing her Pinterest boards I stumbled across an art print of a sloth in a business suit. So I got to wondering, what does Mr. Sloth wear at Christmas? A Santa suit of course.

I drew the basic pattern after looking at some sloth pictures online. His body and most details are felt with a bit of embroidery. For the hat pom-pom, hem and cuffs regular white felt just wasn't fluffy enough so I went searching for something that would fit the bill a bit better. Some spare quilt batting proved the perfect thing Cheesy Santa Sloth is around 4" wide and hangs from gold cord so he can easily be looped over a branch.

I love making Christmas ornaments Cheesy Has to be one of my favorite crafting past-times ever.
