I seem to be drawn to creating white snowy trees this year Cheesy

I picked up some lovely trimmings at an antique fair in the summer with no real idea what to do with them. But I neeeeded them! Playing with the lace I found I could make a tree shape. To back the lace I tore a long triangle from a sheet of handmade paper and then added the other trimming (not sure what it was designed for...) on the back. It fits so neatly over the tape measure trunk (these small things please me Wink) Added a bell and button and...frilly snowy trees.



Also, I don't think they need their own post so I'll sneak them in here. I finally made some of the twig trees I've been lusting after recently.

The frilly lace trees are very pretty ( love the measuring tape trunks ) but, man, those twig trees are awesome!
