I picked up a flier today (checking out the craft at Portobello; report = could do better) for CRAFT ROCKS!  at the V&A on Saturday 26 March 2004.

Looks like a knitting and crochet extravaganza, with tutorials, free wool and needles, DJs, freestyle knitting circle (?!), a tour of craft at V&A and more...

Details off flier:
18:30 - 22:00
Victoria & Albert Museum, SW7 (South Ken)

Just to let you guys know... It was utterly BRILLIANT!!
I went on my own as all my crafty buds were tied up... but firstly, I wasn't alone for a minute, and secondly I wish I had done more to entice my not-so-crafty mates... as it was packed with every sort of person, just giving it a go... including lots of men which I have to say, surprised and thrilled me!

After this one night I am now back into knitting, half way through a knitted bag of my own design (didn't have much choice in that... wanted to make Stitch n' Bitch one but bought the wrong needles.. so this will be an original!!)

Take care and if this sort of thing comes your way... GO!!!!
