This is a gift for my mum. Her birthday is in December so I like to give her something decorative with her present. Cheesy

I just sewed up some red fabric, stitched down the vintage tape measure for the tree trunks, ironed some stuff to the back of the canvas trees to stop them fraying too much and blanket stitched them down, machine stitched the 'Merry Christmas' ribbon (that I bought for greetings cards) and stitched on the buttons. And voila, a tablerunner from stash supplies...my favourite kind of projects! Grin

They have this design stitched on each side of the runner.







Fingers crossed she likes it, and it doesn't get messy...who knows how those old tape measures will wash! Cheesy

Thanks! I did, I ironed on some of that thin sticky sheet stuff, I forget what it's called! I guess if it does fray, it'll look more snowy... Wink
