Oh gosh, I was about to go to bed, but I think I really need to go seek my list and brainstorm some new and interesting themes.
Unless you are planning on claiming in your sleep I think it could probably wait until morning  Wink Sleep walking claiming

Claims are now officially open so go for your lives.

Why has everyone got such good themes? I'm so tempted to use up my three claims on the first day... *must resist temptation*

Yes, after seeing the lists of themes, I can fully understand that I might be sleep claiming.

We are off to a great start!  I didn't really imagine there would be so many claims the first day, since there's not a huge vast amount of people that joined yet.  I'm glad everyone is excited!

I'm a few days away from being allowed to swap, but I intend for this to be my first!!! I'm wondering though (and forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere, I looked but couldn't find anything) --how thick/heavy should inchies typically be? Is cardstock weight okay? Or should it be more substantial?  Thanks!

inchies are completely new to me, but like the idea.

Think I might just be up for this one - easy on the purse for postage Smiley but interesting to do.

I prefer my inchies to be cardstock or thicker. I often use cereal packets as my bases, just stick paper onto it or even draw directly onto it is that is the texture I'm looking for. Think recycle! Some also use thick watercolour paper, you can pick up some of the monte mart stuff fairly cheeply in bargain book stores. I personally think they are better a little stiff, although I have recieved them in the past just on paper. There are no rules really , just personal chocie.

Inexpensive postage is one of the reasons that I really like inchies!  Grin

Organiser message:

Please word the first few lines of your claims like this:

Send date
Crafster 1 to craftster 2 - theme xyz

ie like the first claim we had....

Send by 29 Nov
Oodelally to Nilmerg - Blue paisley

If we can use this format throughout then It just makes our life easier when we are tracking claims.
Thank you

Oops, I stalled the swap! Notice I have artists choice on my list...as long as it's blue!!! Hint Hint!

Someone needs to claim me so Oodelally (who has already claimed me twice) can claim someone new!
