One, I need some ideas for a great project for a silent auction item. I sew so so. I can decopauge. I can make jewelry. I can't knit or crochet. I made a scrabble tile loaded bracelet last year. Just looking for new ideas.

The banquet is in February, but I'm trying to plan ahead and be organized.

Well you can make a set of coasters or place mats. Or you can make some reuseable bags or maybe a purse and wallet.

I am doing several sets of coasters. I like the reusable bag idea. I might look for some cheap fabric to make some. i'm debating on some Teesha Moore Squares to make a messager kind of bag for the silent auction. I joined the swap for TM pillows. So we'll see how I do on that.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll be working on some things tomorrow.

Make sure though that you do use nice fabric for the bags you don't want people buying them and then being upset that the fabric is not as nice as they thought. Also you could always melt some plastic bags together and make a lining for it so its water proof.
