I made this for the journal cover swap, and although there was some machine sewing involved, the focal point is the embroidery.



I drew the octopus out on paper, cut it out and used it as a stencil to cut out the felt piece. Then I just eyeballed the stitching, looking at my drawing for reference. I used backstitching for the whole thing.



I am really pleased with how he turned out. Thanks for looking! Smiley
