This was one of hubby's old t-shirts.  I wanted to make it into a nightgown.
 Here's a mini tutorial:

1. Made it smaller (cut the sides and restitched so it wasn't so big)
2. Added a ruffled tier at the bottom (I used scraps from some other old t-shirts for that)
3. Widened the neckline and added a ruffle (the ruffle was necessary to cover a stain)
4. Shortened the sleeves (I actually want them shorter. In the pic they are rolled up. I think I'll stitch them in place like that).

Yay-new jammies!

Great idea and it turned out very cute too.  Being an old t-shirt it must be very soft and comfortable too.
