each year our high school has it's annual marching band spectaular as the fall fundraiser for the band program
part of the spectacular involves a quilt raffle with some sort of music themed quilt (that isn't generic to our high school's colors)
this year, i got asked to make them quilt, and after selecting a fairly simple pattern, knocked this out in a day or so!
it's a child size quilt, but even at that, it is a fairly decent size!
this was my first time doing binding the "right way" instead of the ugly bias tape way i had been doing it.
never again will i go back to my old ways!
my grandma did the quilting on it, as well as made a coordinating pillow slip cover in order to make a matched "set"
super fun little quilt.
SUPER easy pattern that i wouldn't mind doing again if i had to!
