At some point during this past summer, my friend and I decided it would be pretty awesome to have a Game of Thrones hoodie for the upcoming Autumn/Winter.  We love the books, we love the show, etc.

We googled it, and kept finding things like this, neither of us really liked the wolf image:

So we started playing around with the idea of having me make them for us.  She decided we definitely needed fur, and I started looking around for really good wolf crest images.  About 1/3 of the way through the hoodie, I came across a post by Lotuspixie on Craftster that was similar to the direction we were taking.  Here is the link to her hoodie (gorgeous, right?):

So I made patterns for the hoodie based on mine and my friends measurements, and came up with his.  The hood is lined with fur and made super big, so that if you're wearing a pony tail, it never touches and smooshes your hair.  The outside is a dark grey sweatshirt fleece, and the inside is lined with a black super soft cuddle fleece.  Smiley  I cut the sleeve ends off of an old hoodie, to finish the sleeve ends.  Oh, and I embroidered a snowflake on the front.  Gotta give "the bastard" some love too, right?

C&C welcome.  Smiley

I recently started a GoT/ASoIaF craft blog, so I'm super excited to see this! One question: is the entire hood lined with fur, or is the fur only on the edge?

That is a really well designed hoody, did you taper it to fit at the waist? Very impressive, have been wanting a fitted hoody for ages, feeling inspired now! Love the hood too.

I tapered it slightly to give it a more feminine cut, less boxy.

This is super cool! I wanna make a Targaryen version. Hmm.. I wonder if you could find lining that looks like scales?
