Hi, I'm not quite sure how to go about this without ending up looking like a bad zombie crossed with a bad witch!

I'll need a long robe type thing in tatters and some kind of prosthetic bits for my missing bits. Maybe some manky bandages too. I will be going with Jesus to the party but do you think it still won't be clear what I am? Not sure my skills are up to making a virgin Mary costume and need something to go with Jesus!

The bell and calling unclean would probably be all the distinction you need.

Wrapping your fingers in linen with oozing crustules would be good. I hear oatmeal and latex make a pretty good crusty wound, and there's an all-natural fake blood tute right here. Just don't add the beetroot, and it should look pretty pustulous. The toes are often the first thing to go, so hobbling is also good.

BTW, my boyfriend asks if Jesus will heal you at the end of the night, and my room-mate suggests baptisms in the bobbing-for-apples barrel. I live with their senses of humour EVERY DAY Tongue
