So I made this quilt! I'm so excited about it. Its my first full queen sized quilt for my bed. In the past I've made largish quilts that can go on my bed but in addition to other bedding, but not this time!

The pattern i used came from this book:
http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/the-practical-guide-to-patchwork.html

and all of the fabric was from Heather Bailey's line "nicey jane":

So some in progress shots...

The top, pre borders

And in its final resting place!

Wish I could stick with a quilt long enough to finish it as you have.  That is soooo beautiful and I too love the colors.  This ROCKS!

That is a gorgeous quilt!  I can't even pick a favorite thing about it, because I love it all.

thanks everyone! I'm currently wrapped up in it as i'm typing and i can still hardly believe i made it, its definitely my most favorite quilt i've ever made, and quite a feat, each block took almost 30 minutes to make! I usually dont have enough stick-to-it-ness to take on a project that i know going in will take a ton of man hours!

ooohhh you would ask me that right as i'm forgetting... I know its an Australian based brand but i'm blanking on the name...

My home machine is a Singer, but i'm totally blanking on the quilting machine. I so wish i could afford one of my own, and also had the 18 ft of width in a room required to house one, they are CRAZY BIG!
