oh - the nuttiest of nuts!!

But thats what I did (and do) to the taggie you sent me

Oh - btw I hand sewed everything as it's easier to do that with the boys around - I can pick up, do half a seam, and put down again, and have even managed a few stitches with toddler sat on knee! Can't do that with the sewing machine
And the floss I used to 'quilt' the coaster and mugrug carry on the 'scrappy' theme - they were all 'leftovers' from other projects

I think a lot more people are finding that hand sewing can be relaxing and practical...I love the holidays because I make a lot of hand sewn ornaments and gifts...

lovely stitching also adds to the pieces, I think...good for using leftovers!  Scrappy, indeed!

The reversible bag is awesome, and the sewing machine pincushion is a great idea The Christmas ornaments are fab (would love to see a close up), and the scrappy tote is cute   Sorry if I've missed someone's parcel out - EVERY package in this gallery is thoughtful and lovely.

I keep having nightmares of some customs person not believing it is your "birthday", jemimah, and tearing the entire box open....

I marked it as a gift...it should arrive soon...per my postmaster, 6-10 days, so let's hope for the 6 days and you get it tomorrow! (I bet they mean business days...grrrr)

I love cabaute's package to StickerChic87! That necklace is super and will go with anything. cabaute, how did you join the ends? a major job on that wallet--beautifully crafted. gorgeous fabric and same on the needlebook--all awesome!

great craftings from love2teach! i know what you mean about corduroy, Sandroo. I've always thought it was interesting how you can hear corduroy that soft of cckkk ckkk sound. yummy in a potholder and love that crocheted bag--beautiful! Wow that you just winged the design.

very nice scrappiness from cxcaitlyn! I really like the shape of the zippered pouch and all those fabrics. card case is so cheery-- i like it inside and out! yummy extras--those sound pretty exotic!

wow on the mug rug and ornaments , muddy 21! Like where on earth do you find those fabrics--tho that's not saying I'd ever have your eye! those ornaments are like sooo sweet! ditto on what mini_mum says: TUTE!

Yep, Abbeyrd83 is a spoiler, cxcaitlyn. Amazing tote! I just love the scrappiness here. GREAT pot holder.  This show that argyle can be cute-- i love what you selected here. Nice cat and nice cat toy. are those peppermint socks??

niiice tote, Waterbaby. 4-in-1 for sure. I love the scrappy purple side, the multi side is exciting. I like the pennant side, too--clever patching there.  very nice tissue holder--bolder than most which is cool. nice FQs and yum on truffles.

susanab - the 2 things are a coaster to match the mug rug :p and?? not sure, the silver things? bought napkins.

I love the sewing machine pin cushion too - wanted something else to send, and stubbled on the idea, as you do, and jumped on it - had it made the same evening still not done mine though (always the way isn't it!)

ha ha --we do tend to make stuff for others before we even make them for ourselves!

I made the first 10 things on the 50 projects lists things I need or want!!!  I listed a sewing machine pincushion...also, as much as I knit and crochet, I still do not have a proper bag...it is shameful, right?

I think we need another: one for you/one for me swap---you have to make two of whatever you and your partner decide...one to keep, one to give!

Okay, I have four parcels to reply to:

• Lovely mug rug and those Christmas ornaments, well they are awesome!
• The scrappy potholder and the bag are great, the owls are so cute!
• The tissueholder is so bright and nice.`But the reversible bag with 4 different sides, super!
• AND then the nautical mug rug, coasters and sewing machine pincushion are terrific! Agree with all the others that having a sewing machine pincushion is essential if you don't want the pins to end up, well about everywhere!

Well done all!  All so different and just great!
No cats BTW, except for the cat of cxcaitlyn, that is!
