Halloween for me is ALL of October, since I have the pleasure of scaring the public at a haunted attraction. Its great fun and I love doing it. This year I was told to make my own character, and that the boss man wanted me as a clown. THE Clown. I got chosen, me and 7 others to be "all stars" at the show this year. Which means serious business. I had so much fun as this character, MiMi the Birthday Clown. I got to play around in a Carnival and even was in video. Its was a great honor. And I had much more fun Halloween passing out candy in my own make up rendition!! I love this outfit!
I made every thing but the petticoat, socks and shoes. The thermals aren't really part of the costume but it was cold here in Ohio.
My inspirations were simple. Make a Gothic lolita Raggedy Anne clown!

Anyways on to pictures

Before I got outside (the knife was only for pictures and is not sharpened, it is a display knife)

Waiting on the steps before trick-or-treat

The costume itself

The wig, all hand made.

It was great freaking people out like this!

And this is what I looked like some nights at the haunt. Not what I wanted to look like but hey, it works.

Hope you enjoyed looking, I certainly had too much fun playing around!

added: forgot to meantioned that I altered McCall's 2337 for the dress and used Simplicity's Arkavestry pattern 2777
