It's been a while since I posted anything on Craftster and think it's time to change that.
I decided to start working on some of the vintage patterns I purchased over the Spring and Summer.
The first project was simplicity 4139, a 1940s design. I absolutely love the style and think I will be making more fromthis pattern in the future.

I used a light cotton lawn in a red floral print and vintage buttons on the front and cuffs.

I like this, it really suits you, your skirt is great too!

Always in need of supplies, especially fabric- let's do a personal swap. I'll craft in return for fabric (I am a fabric tart)

shop the swap, my shop

Thank you.
I am actually wearing trousers. There are more pictures on my blog where you can see them a little better. I didn't want to clog up craftster with too many pictures.

I love 40's fashion and I think you've chosen a fabulous combination of blouse design and print.
