With enough caffiene, I could rule the world.

While wrapping head bands to be embellished with flowers, I was noticing how neatly the crochet thread was wrapping, and it got me thinking about weaving... and weaving words into the wrap. With some trial and error, I found that I could fit 6 strands of crochet cotton (size 3) going the long way around the head band... so I found a cross-stitch alphabet chart that was 6 squares high. I had to modify a few letters - the "S" took 4 tries to make it legible! Anyway... I think these would be fun to make, weaving in your favorite short quotes, or simple messages, and doing in any number of colors. I went with short and simple for my first run - which was a good thing.

I've never been lost, but I will admit to being confused for several weeks.
