Victorian Lady Costume

I was inspired by Simplicity's victorian/steam punk pattern 2172. Fell in love with the costume when I saw the pattern. Every year our Krewe has a halloween costume party and this year I went all out!  I made the jacket, the corset, the skirt and embelleshed a blank hat and crocheted the gloves. I hope you have as much fun looking at the pictures as I had making it!

lol I so know what you mean i fell in love with it too. i alterd mine a bit to go more with the bustle skirt and i split the jacket in back. Love your colors

Thanks everyone!!! I hope I get lots of votes.  My daughter convinced me to enter the contest, with the economy as it is I was so hoping to win a sewing machine for her for christmas!   What a great pressie that would be!
