It would feel weird if I just started posting without introducing myself, so hello! I'm Amy (but most people really do call me Maimy), I'm from a rainy little seaside town in the north-east of England and I guess I'm a professional crafter Smiley I'm a self-employed designer-maker and I work as a seamstress part-time. I've always been a crafter, I primarily work with textiles these days - mainly sewing, crochet, embroidery and printing - but I've dabbled in all sorts including ceramics and silversmithing.

I've been wanting to get stuck into an online craft community for a while (I think I actually signed up here over a year ago!), but struggled to decide which I might actually stick to  Tongue But now I've decided, so here I am! Nice to meet you all  Cheesy

Hey Amy *waves from another little sea side town in the north east* Welcome to Craftster, I hope you'll be very happy here Cheesy I know I am Cheesy  The crochet boards here are AWESOME, they just keep providing wonderful ideas and inspiration, I may be biased though as crochet is my primary craft hehe
