My daughter has just started gymnastics and loves it. The problem is it's an official club with pretty tight rules and children need to be in leotards. She is 3 but only 86cm and very skinny. They're also extremely expensive for what they are. Does anyone have a link to a suitable pattern or web directions that I could follow please?

Thank you!

I've heard good things about Jalie patterns. I think you may have to adjust the pattern either way, as the smallest Jalie goes to is Euro 92 (which they say is about the right size for a 2 yr old). Here's the pattern page for Gymnastics.

Good luck!

Ottobre has some patterns you could use, swimwear patterns for example.

Depending on her size, would an adapted onesie pattern work?  There are lots of those around from all the major pattern companies.

You could also measure a t-shirt of hers that fits and use a pair of her panties as a guide for the bottom and draft your own.  Stretchy fabrics are very forgiving, so it should work fairly well.
