"mrs." buzz lightyear 2011

starting out as possibly a joke suggestion, turned actual halloween costume.
yeah, i love me some toy story, so my friend found it very suiting to suggest either jesse or buzz lightyear for my costume this year.
since i don't have a mister to dress as the space ranger himself and be jesse, i went with the latter option!

the top was done from a tank top painted with soft fabric paint.

the skirt was a pirate skirt pattern from a few years ago, altered to be the correct buzz lightyear coloring (with giant green rick rack!)

i painted my shoes with purple spray paint, fabric paint, and yes, made sure the bottom was as it should be!
i had to cut the fingers and thumb out of the gloves in order to make them fit properly, but it definetly made things easier to bowl in

This is SO awesome! I think I may have to get started on my costume for next year. Only 360 days to go!
