okay my websites being a porker so im gonna have to wait to post pics
but i took an old hanging lamp with an ugly creamic bowl on the bottom
i took off the bowl (thingie) (think enormous bead)
and drilled holes into a lawn flamingo(okay more like stanbbed repetedley with a sharp knife)
untill the holes erer bug enough to fit onto the
big ol metal thingie that was holding the bowl

and stuffed the flamingo on

i didnt explain that very well but pics will come with (semi) detailed instructions
once i get my site working again

WHOA! I have wanted to do this so long! But I can't find lawn flamingos. I can't wait to see this picture. Do you know where to get lawn gnomes?

I know where you can get pink plastic flamingos - Archie McPhee! And cheap-ish - only $16.95 for 2! McPhee also carries a giant plastic penguin that might make a cool lamp too.
