The Nyckelharpa is a lovely, strange beast!

*note* [the photos in this post were taken by a professional photographer, Jen Owen of Jen Martin Studios, and have been used with her explicit permission]

For Halloween this year I got to wear a set of Mechanical hands that I made from scratch! (horrible pun intended) I wore them to work, downtown, a bakery & even to a restaurant. Luckily I had someone with me to take photos and lend me a hand with tasks that required fine motor skills.

Here are some images of our adventures:

Then, as a grand conclusion to the day, we went to a park and made a video of me terrorizing my daughter and her friends:

Monstrous Mechanical Mits and a park full of children... they go together like cake and icecream
[No children were genuinely terrified in the making of this video... except perhaps my nephew who is now questioning his uncle's sanity]

Fantastic. Hilarious. Awesome. Rocks.

I hope you walk like that all the time. If not, you should. At the very least you should keep the evil guffaw Smiley

I don't walk around like this specifically all the time... but I am known to roam around in various silly costumes at many times of the year other than Halloween Smiley

The hands aren't too well suited to single-ply Wink

I'm left wondering  Huh if the evil Madman with Mechanical Hands was hurt by the "small people of the park". Or if they helped him to overcome his evil ways  Shocked by smothering him with love. (I've witnessed the "small people of the park" doing this to others, the ice cream vendor especially)

Will there be a 2nd installment of the "Madman w/Mechanical Hands" Chronicals??
