My 3 grandchildren stay warm and cozy all winter long in the costumes I made for them out of pajama fabric.  One was made for Rapunzel using flannel backed satin, trim and ribbon from my stash and one yard of glittery organza.  The other princess was made from the same, except I used curtains for the overlay that were purchased at a second hand store.  My grandson wished to be "Indiana Jones" and his costume was made from flannel.  I like to make their costume serve double duty, as I did for my own children years ago
