I want to start consignment store? It will open weekends only. I few products of my own to start out. Plus my friend have her own products to start out and we will have 10 x 10 booth to set up

Any advice?

I'm not quite understanding the situation. Are you saying you have a booth in someone else's consignment shop or is this more of a regular weekend craft show run as a consignment shop? In either case, you need to read their contract very, very carefully. I would want references from satisfied customers, vendors, and would keep an eagle eye on my inventory (for cleanliness, neatness, damage, etc.) at least once per week. If you make sales watch for warning signs like late payments ("your check is in the mail!"). In an economy like this, people you wouldn't think of as scam artists may show their ugly side just to survive. I've heard too many stories the past couple years. It pays to be alert.
