so firehead4-- this table is upholstered?  How did you apply upholstry stuff to this solid surface?

When I lived in New York, in the East Village, I'd see these upholstered tree stumps.  Must have been the same person doing all of them, cos they were all the same cushy red thick vinyl, with those brass upholstry tacks around the perimeter-- just like a classic diner booth!  It was radtastic.  So I'd like to upholster some stuff.  Random stuff.

Well, this table was quite easy.  I just removed the tabletop (it was affixed with screws). Then I wrapped the fabric around and stapled it underneath.  There was no batting used b/c i wanted the table to remain hard and flat.  When the table top gets a little dusty, you just use a vacuum attachment and bye bye dust!  If i get bored of the fabric i can change it out, too!

At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass... the refill contained the antidote.

This is really good, I like how everything comes together so well ... the colours and the upholstery pattern and those dangly things ...
