My tin is shipped!!!

Now I want to make more for myself in this theme! Cheesy

nooo--I take a crumbled piece of wax paper and rub the heck out of it over anything that I use the glossy mod podge for...it seems to work as sort of a sandpaper and takes out the stickiness...try it and see if it works for you...

I love Mod Podge (give it a chance, aroze!), but not the glossy kind. Maybe it is the southern humidity, but like noooo, mine always stays tacky, and I can't like that.

No way! The midwest is a pretty humid place too and its always sticky. I'd rather pay more for matte medium and like how the texture turns out. The Claudine Helmuth Multi-medium in matte is good too. A little flowery smelling but still, for me, better than mod podge. I can't help it, I'm a snob.  Cheesy

I will check that out when I go get my bucket of gesso....I need to explore more rather than get what I am used to using...there are so many new products that my head swims sometimes...flowery smelling can be a good thing! Cheesy

Mod Podge and I don't agree either!!  I usually blame it on the humidity here in Oklahoma but it could be operator error!!  It just stayed tacky- and then, at my house at least, it gets covered in pet hair!!  I just use Golden Matte Medium or PVA.  More expensive but less stress for the over-stressed!!

Of cabbages and kings.
And why the sea is boiling hot

Err... I hope the tin I made for you doesn't get sticky, a'roze. I'll eventually try the CH multi-medium...  I don't even remember the cost of my vat o' Mod Podge. I think I got it when we did the Wicked Circus swap (all the way back in March!) but never used it.

Thanks for a fun and happy swap!

My tin from goatgoddess makes a wonderful addition to my holiday decorating, so I am very pleased.

Thanks for organizing and putting the altered tin bug in my ear! Grin
