Is the matte different than the paper mod podge?  I was using the matte for years but the clerk at Michael's said I should try the paper one...honestly, I did not notice much of a difference at all...except that it is more expensive! Grin

They couldn't pay me to use mod podge. That stuff hates me.

Matte Mod Podge?  Paper Mod Podge?  I think they are both multi-use, matte just referring to the non-glossy finish.  At least that's  how I've always perceived it (I have "satin" in my stash too!)

I use matte Mod Podge all the time. I think the paper one is the same or so close to it, who cares? I did not notice a difference except in price. They have an antique-y one out too.

I tried to put my tin together last night and it didn't work!!  So I undid the outside of the bottom and had a quick redo.  Now that everything is back to where is should be I can put the finishing touches on tonight and get it in the mail tomorrow.  I actually like the redo better than the original, so it worked out well Shocked)

Were we supposed to start crafting before tonight??   Tongue  I have a couple of "embellishments" left to add and can mail out tomorrow after school is dismissed.  (My students have been keeping me BUSY the past few days- would it be wrong to tell them tomorrow is "Nap Day"?)

I used to despise mod podge until a few months ago. I would use watered down glue, too! I think I got a few things that had the glossy mod podge on it and it seemed like it was sticky/tacky FOREVER. I figured it was either the Southern heat/humidity or mod podge was just gross.

But I bought a jar of it for some reason, I don't know why (things just end up in my cart at the craft store, amnesia, whatever, no one will judge me here) and I've been using it and I LIKE IT NOW! Cheesy

I am also recently new to Modge Podge!  I have actually used up a half bottle of the glossy on other projects and got the matte kind for the tin
