Okay, so this was our first time doing DIY costumes and they came out great! Only problem, when we wore them, we were on a vacation just us two so the pictures were kinda limited. So I uploaded a bunch so that hopefully you can get the idea of what they were! We were Flynn and Rapunzel for our 1 year wedding Anniversary trip to Disney, and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. So of course, we had to be Disney characters. My husband kind of acts like Flynn (and looks like him) so we figured this is perfect.=] We even got asked to take pictures with guests, until a Disney employee said not to let people take pictures with us anymore (people thought we were the real deal and Disney didn't like that) =] So that was a really proud moment!

The first thing I made was the wig! I couldn't walk around with a HUUUUGE wig in the park, so I settled with her shorter look of the braid. When I bought this wig,it was nasty, nappy curly!!! Then it turned into this:

=]]]]] I was super excited about it!
Then came the dress, and his vest. I had help with his vest. A friend of ours had already made it for a Ren fair, so we just added the accessories.
But the dress, completely from scratch!!!!
Us with the real Rapunzel and Flynn....

Notice the smolders!

Then we added a friend!

Action shot! haha

So, sorry about the bajillion pictures!!!! =] Please vote for me, we worked very very hard!
