The shrug's a bit fiddly (and there were some mistakes somewhere, hopefully nothing too glaring), but it was really fun to make. I'm glad you like everything, Mod35tBabe! Now I just need to make both a shrug and a shirt with that saying for me. Lol

Heh I don't crochet so I honestly have no idea what mistakes you're referring to. Lol I always want to make myself the same thing I've made someone else but I rarely ever do.

I recieved from A2K and I LOVE it all!!  I got some beautiful arm warmers made from some awesome super soft cashmere yarn, and I got the leftover yarn!!  I also got a really cute little bag.

Thanks so much!!!!

I keep trying to get a close up of the cute little bag with all the forest animals on it, but my camera sucks lately and my close ups are very blurry Sad

Okay people, prepare to be AMAZED  Shocked  by the package I received today from tcmatteson  Shocked

She claimed me for this item:

and for those of you unfamiliar with Canadian geography, that is the shape of my province of Alberta and the heart is centered over the town I live in.  This amazing work of art is done with pins and thread and I'm TOTALLY THRILLED with it and still can't believe someone picked to make it for me.  Here's a close up of the heart so you can see how much thread was used (I can't imagine the time that went into wrapping all this)

But wait, there is more!  She then stalked my pinterest more and found some other items I wanted and added those to the package - a yard of this puzzle fabric that I've been drooling over for a long time but could never find!

But there is yet more!  She also saw that I wanted some folded paper star garland and sent some of that too:

and a close of so you can see how tiny and fun they are:

Isn't that just a FANTASTIC package!!!!!!!!!!  I LOVE every item and can't wait to hang the picture and garland and use the puzzle fabric in my next sewing project (I know just what I'm going to use it for and it's something for my house as I could never part with that fabric)  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

that forest critter fabric looks cute, even if the pic is blurry!

How long does string art like that take to make, WOW Shocked

I received from Annchen today- well technically yesterday, but I just got home and its 12:45am.

Milo LOVES his new cat-crack toy, I want to get a good pic of him playing with it! Prob wont get a chance until Friday morning.

AND I love the little hedgie you sent too- but I wouldn't dare use it as a pot scrubber (gasp!), its much to cute for cutting grime and stuck on food! It has a prominent place on my Christmas tree  Smiley
Thank you Annchen, you are wonderful!

Pics soon!

Great package, Homer!  Love that puzzle fabric!

Glad you are happy with your mitts, mama!  (The yarn is only 5% cashmere -- but it IS soft!)

And Modus!!  THANKS for the cow pincushion!!!

Isn't she adorable?  Modus sent some vintage buttons, a Michigan button (since we are both Michiganders!) and some lovely pins.    Thanks, Modus!

I am finally able to post pictures of the awesome scarf ffrogg made me. I love so many things about this scarf. First- it is the same stitch as the one on my pinterest, but it isnt done exactly the same. I have some similar to the one on my pin, so having this different length and width scarf is great. Also, I dont have too many wide scarves, so this fits that need. Another thing I love about this scarf is the fact that I would never have chosen these colors for myself, but it is beautiful, and it will work perfectly with one of my favorite pairs of shoes. Finally, the craftsmanship is amazing. Thank you ffrogg, I absolutely love this scarf, and I am gonna have a hard time keeping it away from my mom when she comes to visit over the holidays, as I know she is going to want it too!
